Oyama Lake

This small recreation site is on a medium sized fishing lake. This lake is a water supply for local communities and the levels can fluctuate significantly. There is a cartop boat launch. Boat launch and Day Use parking is available at the site entrance near the sign.

From Oyama: Off Middle Bench Road, turn east onto Todd Road and drive 0.7km. Then turn right onto Oyama Lake Road. Drive 9.2km and then bear right onto Oyama Lake Resort Forest Service Road. In 2.8km you will arrive at Oyama Lake.

From Vernon: Drive approximately 7km east of Vernon on Highway 6 and turn right onto King Edward Forest Service Road. At 4km, bear right to stay on King Edward FSR. Then at 12.6km, bear right onto Oyama Lake Forest Service Road. After 8.6km, bear left onto Oyama Lake Lodge Forest Service Road and drive 2.8km to Oyama Lake.
