Tacheeda Lakes Middle

This popular site is the first of the 3 Tacheeda Lakes sites and offers space for 10 camping parties. There is a loop road that provides easy access for larger vehicles. It is a moderately sized site with defined camping pads, tables and fire rings. There is a graveled boat launch suitable for both car top and trailered boats. Anglers may have success with wild stocks of rainbow trout, kokanee and lake trout. Please note that the lake trout are catch and release only.

*Note that the Chuchinka-Colbourne Road is an extremely busy industrial road. The use of two-way forestry radios is highly recommended. Please drive cautiously at all times and be aware of high volumes of heavy industrial traffic.*

From Prince George, drive approximately 85 Km on Highway 97 North and right on Chuchinka-Colbourne (2000) FSR. After 7 km the road turns into the 800 Road (keep left). Continue along this road and the site is located at km 840 on the left side of the road.
